Roxana Puente  

Roxana joined WTTC in February 2020 and oversees the relationship with the private industry within the Latin America and Caribbean Region.

She has a wealth of experience in the travel & tourism industry. She has worked in important organizations such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, the Mexico Tourism Board and most recently at Destination Canada for the Mexican market.

Throughout her career, she has coordinated many important world-class projects, including COP 16, WTTC – The Americas Summit, T20, Tianguis Turístico, Canadá a Voces, WTTC Global Summit, in addition to the participation of Mexico. in important international fairs such as FITUR, JATA, ABAV, ILTM WTM, World Routes, among many others.

During her career she has developed skills in brand image, tourism promotion, public relations, and events coordination.

She is a graduate of the Universidad de las Américas, Puebla and has degrees from the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico as well as the Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz, Austria.
