Biography

Professor Lloyd Waller is the esteemed Chair of Digital Transformation Policy and Governance at the Department of Government at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. Over a decade, he has been a prolific intellectual force, authoring over 100 scholarly articles, seminal books, cutting-edge research papers, and pivotal technical reports. His body of work covers disciplines such as digital transformation, tourism resilience, governance, policy management, advanced research methods, and data analytics.

In addition to this remarkable academic pedigree, Professor Waller holds the distinguished position of Executive Director at the Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre. He also serves as the Senior Advisor to the Tourism Minister for Jamaica, as a pivotal bridge between policy and practice.
