James McAnally

With over 30 years’ hospitality industry experience, eleven of which have been spent with the Sandals group, “Jamie” has enjoyed calling Turks and Caicos home. His attributes continue to distinguish him as a progressive and effective leader, providing the right guidance and support to his team in achieving both financial and service goals at the resort, which propelled his promotion to General Manager in 2017.

Prior to residing in Turks and Caicos Islands, he lived/worked in several resorts across the USA spanning from New York to Lake Tahoe Nevada, as well as in introduction to the Caribbean in St. Lucia nearly 20 years ago.  Having grown up near a resort town in Colorado, the friendliness and familiarity of a small community and an active lifestyle has always been his preferred environment.

When not at the resort, Jamie is a sports enthusiast with a passion for golf and spending time with family.  Having the opportunity to work with several charitable organizations over the past 11 years has also been extremely rewarding.

Through Beaches and the Sandals Foundation, he has had the privilege of serving the community through education assistance, community clean ups, reef restoration projects, dental and vision assistance programs, hurricane restoration projects, school and student sponsorships and youth sports programs.  He has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (2015-2017) as well as the TCHTA Board of Directors and currently serving as President for the 2023-2035 term.
