Jolé St. John is the 2025 CTO Youth Congress winner

The Youth Congress, one of CTO’s signature developmental initiatives, brings together students aged 14 to 17 from across the region, each serving as a “Junior Minister/Commissioner of Tourism.”

Each year, participants present their research and innovative perspectives on the future of Caribbean tourism. The spirited exchanges are designed to foster critical thinking, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of the sector while providing delegates with a glimpse into the vision of the next generation.

Sixteen-year-old Jolé St. John, Tobago’s Junior Secretary of Tourism, was crowned winner of the 2025 CTO Regional Tourism Youth Congress.

St. John impressed judges and delegates with innovative ideas on sustainable tourism, digital transformation, and heritage experiences. Her performance earned her the title of Regional Junior Minister of Tourism until the 2026 Congress.
