Emmy Award-winning journalist and television personality Stephanie Oswald Langlois is one of the country’s premier travel and lifestyle experts. She’s known as the “Travel Girl” — a CNN nickname that transferred to the print and digital magazine she co-founded in 2003: Travelgirl Magazine.
As editor-in-chief, Stephanie is also the on-air face of the Travelgirl brand, promoting ways to bring the joys of travel into everyday living for women around the world. She is also a reporter for the ABC affiliate in New Orleans (WGNO), covering travel and culture for the station’s signature program, “News With a Twist.”
She hosted the popular television series “All-Girl Getaways” on FLN (Fine Living Network) — the show generated more buzz than any program in the network’s history when it launched in 2008.
As the anchor of “CNN Travel Now,” Stephanie spent more than a decade as a globetrotting producer, correspondent and show host for CNN and CNN International.
She was the first extreme weather web correspondent for The Weather Channel, covering hurricanes alongside Jim Cantore.
This native New Yorker has lived in Boston, Paris, Atlanta and Strasbourg, but she loves New Orleans where she now lives with her husband and four children.
