Chris is one of the founders of China Ni Hao, LLC, which provides destinations, airports, hotels, etc. with the necessary tools to attract Chinese visitors and ensure they have the best experiences throughout their stay. Since China is the fastest growing travel sector in the U.S., China Ni Hao brings together a very experienced team of experts in inbound Chinese travel to North America, including the founder and chairman of the largest tour operator, who, with their partners, will bring nearly 800,000 Chinese visitors to the U.S. during 2017.
Previously, Chris was the founder and president of Spring O’Brien which focused on tourism marketing communications in the U.S., with headquarters in New York, a second office in New Jersey and a third in London. It was one of the first agencies to focus on the travel category, developing a strong reputation for creating integrated promotional programs to destinations focused on the U.S. market. Chris represented over 30 countries and many regions including the China National Tourist Office, Singapore Tourism, Hong Kong Tourist Board and Caribbean destinations such as the Cayman Islands, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and the European Travel Commission.
Chris was born in England and spent the first part of his career in London working for major advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and JWT. Spring O’Brien is now owned by MMGY, the largest independent travel-focused agency in the U.S. Chris has lived in New York for over 30 years.
